From an early age, Paolo Crisante sketched and painted the rolling hills and lovely beaches of his native town of Pescara, on the Adriatic Sea. Following his schooling, Signor Crisante worked in tiles, marble and ceramics. Throughout the years, he traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America to visit the workshops of local craftsmen.

After studying many forms of media, Crisante selected decoupage as his way to express his love of traditional Italian culture. Paolo cuts each figure and shape by hand, composes them on glass and coats them with a seal of varnish to seal in the timeless beauty. The entire process can take up to 21 days to complete.
